If you find you use the same size tips on more than project, add another set of tips. Separate Click parts can solve the dilemma of uneven knitting for some knitters whose tension is different when purling versus knitting. These folk may find that working with a tip on one end that is one size larger than the tip on the other end will even out the tension in their rows. Simply use the larger tip on the rows that normally have a tighter tension. This works exceptionally well for those working entrelac without turning their work.
When switching from knitting in the round to knitting back and forth, additional cords with a connector work great as stitch holders for those larger sections of work, such as sleeves, or the front or back of a garment. With a stitch holder the actual size of the piece, one can still easily try on the piece for accurate sizing.
One of the easiest ways to give a slight shape in the waist is to decrease the needle size with which you are working.

These took me two evenings while watching TV to complete. Felted and on my feet. I made an extra pair for my son. Used a needle one size larger and same numbe of stitches and knit to length for his foot. His feet are on the small size for a man. Their snug, but will adjust to fit his foot perfectly. I love making practical fun things! I will have to suggest that Bev at Fiber Trends come up with calculations for large men’s feet.
